meet the brock family

Hi everyone. 

 My name is Shane Brock, owner of Haywood Harvest Company, LLC.  

My wife and I started Haywood Harvest Company after deciding a few years ago that it was finally time to begin a new chapter in our lives since our youngest child would soon be leaving for college. 

After serving in the military for 4 years, and seeing some of the world’s beautiful landscapes I still couldn’t wait to get back to my home, the majestic mountains of Northwest Georgia.  

Once returning to my home in Georgia I married and started my family here on our 50 acre farm.  

My wife and I dedicated 28+ years to building our careers and raising our three children.

 I owned and operated my own electrical business and my wife served as a teacher and administrator in public education.  We have always dreamed of finding a way to embrace and enjoy the beauty that has surrounded us at our homestead in Georgia.  I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors and for farming since this is how I spent much of my childhood and early adult life.  Over the years, I have continued to farm, as well as raise livestock but I was never able to put 100% of my time to farming due to our demanding careers.  

In 2019, a new opportunity came about for us when Governor Brian Kemp signed the Georgia Hemp Farming Act (HB 213) into law.  This bill allows farmers in Georgia to legally grow and sell industrial hemp.  After being asked if we were interested in growing Hemp on our land, we started researching and we quickly decided to apply for growers licenses. We chose hemp because of the amazing healing properties.  This has since grown into us starting our own CBD small business.  

We established this business because we saw the opportunity in the emerging CBD market and we truly believe in the benefits that CBD can bring people because we have experienced it ourselves and witnessed it through many of our friends, family, and colleagues.  Our primary focus will continue to be putting our customers first by researching, networking, and partnering with only reputable companies to offer high quality CBD products only made from organic hemp and producing them with rigorous testing standards.  We currently sell our products to local wholesalers, online and in-person at different sales events like trade shows.
